Spot Buy Toolkit schedule guidelines enable you to set up weekly scheduling restrictions for a buy folder.
For example, there may be a week for which spots should be scheduled M-Th only; by adding a schedule guideline, you can specify that the rotation should be restricted to within M-Th for all lines that include that week. Schedule guidelines are set up by week and must include a rotation; a guideline may also include time restrictions for the first and last days of the rotation.
You can add Spot Buy Toolkit schedule guidelines from the Tools menu in worksheets and revisions. Note that schedule guidelines cannot be added in the Buysheet view.
STEPS:
- On the Tools menu, click Schedule Guidelines.
- On the Schedule Guidelines dialog that appears, click in a blank row.
- Enter a week date in the Week column (e.g., 01/15/16) or click the calendar to select from a calendar of available dates.
- Enter a rotation in the Days column (e.g., M-Th) or click ellipses to select days.
- Optional: Enter a start time guideline in the First Day Start Time column.
- Optional: Enter an end-time guideline in the Last Day End Time column.
- Click OK to save the new guideline and close the dialog
