Minimum 100Base-T Ethernet.
Encryption for internet Access
Mediaocean uses 256-bit encryption for Internet access.
Internet connectivity
As a security measure to protect Mediaocean and customers of Mediaocean, it is required that an Internet Firewall be present at any customer or vendor site that has Internet connectivity.
VPN connectivity information
- Publicly routed IP address is required for implementation
- Pre-shared key will be a minimum of 25 alphanumeric characters
- Peering Option – Phase 1
- Minimum version is IKEv2. IKEv1 will not be accepted
- Minimum encryption is 256-bit
- Minimum authentication method for integrity isSHA-256
- Minimum DH Group for keying is group 19

3. Mediaocean OX installation instructions
Installing OX - PC
- Unzip the MediaoceanOX.msi installer provided by Mediaocean.
- Double-click the MediaoceanOX installer and click Install.
- The install wizard will launch and start the installation of the OX application.
- OX will automatically install on the machine.
- When the installation is finished, a confirmation message will display.
- Click Finish to close the window and complete the process.
Uninstalling OX - PC
- Click the Start button and select Control Panel.
- Click Add/Remove Program.
- Select MediaoceanOX and click Uninstall.
- Access Windows Explorer and select C:\Program Files.
- Delete the MediaoceanOX folder from the machine.
Installing OX - Mac
- Unzip the MediaoceanOX installer provided by Mediaocean.
- Double-click the MediaoceanOX.mpkg installer.
- The install wizard will launch and start the installation of the OX application.
- Click Continue and accept the Software License Agreement.
- OX will install the application, and a confirmation message will display when the installation is complete.
- Click Finish to close the window and complete the process.
Uninstalling OX - Mac
- Go to the Applications folder.
- Right-click the folder and select Move to Trash.
- The OX Application will be removed from the machine.
4. Mediaocean customer experience
OX hours of operation (all times are Eastern)
- Monday – Friday - 8 a.m. – 12 a.m.
- Saturday - 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Sunday - 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
